Tracey Halvorsen is CEO of adeo, a women-led, women-run brand and digital agency based in Baltimore that partners with organizations whose missions align with its values. Over more than 25 years, she has worked with more than 50 colleges and universities, alongside museums, cultural institutions and businesses. Her experience includes Yale, Brown, the International Spy Museum, Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and the Walters Art Museum, with recent work for Skidmore College and the Loomis Chaffee School.

Before joining adeo, Tracey co-founded and led Fastspot for two decades. She is the creator of Blanding, a website audit tool that helps higher education teams examine sameness in their language and positioning, and host of the Escape Velocity podcast.

A practicing painter, Tracey brings an artist’s attention to observation, experimentation and discovery to her work. Her talks explore creativity, leadership and the institutional choices that shape a brand. She has spoken at SXSW, UCDA and Confab London.
